Dear friends, family & colleagues,

As some of you are aware, I'm planning on cycling the Etape du Tour. Apparently its a tricky leg of the tour de France over a couple of bigs hils that i'd never heard of until a few months ago - Tourmalet & Hautacam. Always one to make things difficult i've kept all my training rides to the Netherlands; a country not known for its fierce hills.

So i'm going to need some inspiration. Which is where you come in. 

It's time to dig deep and donate as much as you can to avoid see me prancing around in lycra, and adopting a Lance Armstrong swagger .... must be worth a few quid, right? 

The charity i'd like to help is Candlelighters; they're an amazing group of poeple helping kids with cancer (and their families) deal with every parents worst nightmare.
