Having (just) survived last year, I have on signed up again to run from Warwick Castle to Kenilworth Castle on 6th June. It's only 10k, but up hill and hard work in last year's thunderstorm.
Anyway, the money I am raising is for a good cause: Cord is a long-established Leamington-based charity working internationally with people affected by violent conflict. Cord runs education and enterprise programmes with Darfuri refugees living in Chad, with child soldier abductees in northern Uganda, refugees returning home to Burundi after a decade in camps, and in Cambodia. Have a look at their website
www.cord.org.uk and donate something to make a real difference for some of the world’s most disadvantaged people.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cord gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please put a spring in my step by supporting Cord!
