Story
Hi everyone,
In November last year, a friend was attended by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) following a motorcyle accident at Bawtry, near Doncaster. Although he subsequently died from his injuries, I am certain he was given the very best chance of survival by the rapid response of the YAA and its paramedics.
The YAA Charity relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations to fund the £7,200 daily operating cost of two helicopters, receiving help from the NHS only in the secondment of paramedics.
This year, I am running the Flora London Marathon to raise £2,500 for the YAA. Your donation will go a long way to ensure that the people of Yorkshire - and beyond - continue to benefit from this incredible service.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the YAA Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Many thanks for your help.
