Story
Thanks for taking the time click through onto my JustGiving page.
I am running the London Marathon this year in aid of The Brain Research Trust, one of the UK's leading charities in the field of neurological research. The charity supports and promotes research into the causes, treatment, prevention and cure of neurological diseases, principally by funding clinical research at UCL's world-renowned Institute of Neurology.
My goal is to keep my time to under four hours - anything with a 3 in front of it and I'm happy. If I can get under 3.45 hrs I will be very pleased with myself! I realise that the Marathon is an extremely popular event and that each of you probably receives many requests for sponsorship. However, every bit helps and all donations are received gratefully and with the knowledge that I am not the only one asking you to donate to a worthy cause. I only ask that you dig deep and give as generously as you can.
The Brain Research Trust's support helps further research into Alzheimer's disease, brain tumours, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, motor neurone disease, migraine, brain trauma and spinal cord regeneration. They do not receive any government funding, relying on the generosity of donors who enable this life-saving research to continue. Please help me to support this excellent cause.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
James
