 Throughout the years, I have known many people affected by cancer; both family members and close friends. Sadly, some of these people are no longer with us.

 I have always admired how families cope and felt moved by their experience but not as much as when my daughter  Angela was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour; discovered during an appendix operation.

 Fortunately she does not require invasive treaments, such as chemotherapy, but is due to have a operation to eradicate the chance of it ever returning.

 I have a strong network of friends & work collegues who have been affected by Angela's experience and wanted to do something positive & challlenging. We feel its important to help raise awareness and funds, by ways of saying thank you for the specialists care and attention my daughter and others receive.
