London Bikeathon 2008 · 13 July 2008 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

We were looking for T.Clarkes finest to take part in the London Bikeathon 2008.

Unfortunately they weren't available and all we could find was this mob of (mostly) willing volunteers....affectionately known as 'On Yer Bike Tommies'.

I am pleased to report that we all made it round in one piece although we did manage to lose someone halfway round; apparently he was last seen heading for Folkstone? (Hope you found him ok Jim!). I think a good day was had by all and most agreed to do the 52 mile route next year? Or maybe not...

A big thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored us and supported us on the day. For those of you who didn’t get the chance to donate in aid of our sweaty efforts, there's still time! It would be great to reach £7000

Stop press-Ladies, there are topless photos of H and Darren available for a small donation!

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
