On 12th June, myself together with Kevan Jones MP (Minister for Veterans and Under Secretary of State for Defence) and Bob Russell MP (MP for Colchester) will be skydiving with the Red Devils to raise money for Airborne Forces Charities including the Parachute Regiment Central Fund.  This date is particularly poignant as it marks the first anniversary of the death of my husband L/Cpl James Elliott Bateman who was killed in action in Afghanistan last year whilst serving with 2nd Battallion the Parachute Regiment.
