Working to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for all those affected by heart rhythm disorders.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As you may know Cara was recently diagnosed with a condition that affects the rhythm of her heart and was at a high risk of cardiac arrest.  She had an ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillator) fitted so that if her heart went into a life threatening rhythm it would be shocked back to normal.  We are one of the lucky ones that caught this before she had a cardiac arrest, she could easily have been one of the stories you read about where you say “but she was so active and fit”.

The Arrhythmia Alliance helps to raise awareness of heart rhythm conditions and supports those who have problems.  Please help them to raise awareness and help more people survive.

As an incentive I will give a bottle of ‘decent’ champagne to the individual that guesses my finishing the closest to the nearest second.  Just like with the price is right, if you are over, you are out.

Thanks James
