Thanks for taking a look at my fundraising page.
I'm running the Leeds 10K - Jane Tomlinson Run For All to raise cash for Jane's Appeal. It is the appeal started by Jane which she raised money for in the final years of her life before she lost her fight with terminal cancer. The cash goes to cancer and children's charities.
During my time working as a journalist in Yorkshire I feel lucky to have interviewed Jane and her family on many occasions about her various fundraising challenges. She truly was an inspiring woman and it was after seeing the many runs and bike rides she did that I started running.
I know money's tight right now, and later in the year I will be doing the Great North Run (13 miles) which will be my main fundraiser this year for Jane's Appeal and that's the one I'm putting most of my fundraising effort into. But in the meantime - any donations you can spare while I am running this 10K would be much appreciated by the charities that mattered so much to Jane.
