I am undertaking an expedition to raise money for ChildLine in April 2007.  The trip to the saw-tooth peaks of Lesotho (Le-soo-too), the “ Mountain Kingdom ” or “Kingdom in the Sky” of Southern Africa will be a very challenging and demanding journey. Please help me raise my fundraising target by digging deep and sponsoring me online.

Surrounded entirely by South Africa Lesotho has problems that are typical of many African countries, namely TB, malaria, Aids (around 20% of the population) and malnutrition - life expectancy in the country is just 37 years.  The trip will involve spending several days at various projects to volunteer around the camps and see the work that is being done to help the people of Lesotho. T his will be followed by a 6 night and 7 day trek and climb in the mountains, experiencing the countries formidable, beautiful terrain, competing with the elements.

Our last expedition to the Himalaya in 2005 was a huge success, our 20 strong team raised in excess of £80,000 for ChildLine.
