Why am i doing this you may wonder... i wonder that myself somtimes. Trekking for over six days of up to seven hours a day with temperatures ranging from humid tropical rain forest to freezing arctic conditions of -20 degrees, the final day being the most challenging twelve hour climb through the night reaching the summit at daybreak to watch the sunrise over the plains below and Mount Meru in the distance.
The money raised will be going to scope a charity which works with people with cerebral palsy to help achieve equality.
My beautiful and very funny niece Daniella has cerebral palsy and if i can match her courage and determination i know i'll eventually reach the top and be thinking of her all the way.
