Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hi and welcome to my page.

18 months ago a member of my family was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that affects approximately 120,000 people in the UK.

Currently, there is no cure.

My brother and I want to raise as much money and awareness as we can for Parkinson's UK by completing 5 marathons in 5 years: Edinburgh (2010), Paris (2011), Berlin (2012), New York (2013) and London (2014).

After completing the Edinburgh 2010 Marathon in a rather sluggish time of 5:59, we have entered this years Paris Marathon to try and better our time and to raise more money than last year (just over £650 each).

So please dig deep and donate now. Every penny counts.

Thank you,

Jamie.
