Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·

Our mission is to remove roadblocks for young people to help them succeed and thrive in whatever they put their minds to. We do this by supporting individuals and groups with financial grants, sharing connections and encouraging success.

Story

This will be the 3rd time i have run Brighton Marathon and this is marathon number 12 for me. Brighton Marathon is very special to me, its local and the crowd support and atmosphere is amazing. This year i have done very little training for it so it will be even more of a challenge than usual but im pretty confident i will get round.

I have once again decided to run for the Edward Starr Charitable trust who are a Brighton based charity,The Edward Starr Charitable Trust provides funding for individual and group projects with the sole aim ‘to help children smile’.  This can be through education, play, healthcare assistance, or any other way that gives a child happiness and makes a positive impact on their lives.

Funding is paid directly to service providers, for example if the application is for equipment we will purchase it direct from suppliers and arrange delivery of goods.
