Hi, thanks for visiting my page to raise funds for REACT. I am doing the swim leg in a team for the London Olympic Triathalon.
This is for a very important cause in helping refugees in Darfur have some hope for their future and some normality in their daily lives by raising money for their text books. Many children as young as 8 travel through war zones just to find books or sit exams.
I am often frustrated by my seeming inability to support these people and many like them around the world, but this is a great way of all of us having a direct connection with them and a positive impact on their lives. I hope you can make a contribution large or small and I will be putting myself in 1.5km of that lovely fresh water-hole known as the Thames to do it! Whether its £50 or £5 it all makes a big difference, so dont be shy.
