Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting our Justgiving page. Well we did it on Wed 06 May 2009 we managed to get to France in 2hrs and 40 mins and cover just over 25 miles. We had a blast. My dad Tony was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in June 2008 . He sadly passed away on 14 of Feb 2009. The MND Association have been an amazing support throughout this difficult time. My dad introduced me to windsurfing when I was 11 and that lead to me taking up kitesurfing about 7 years ago. He has always been up for a physical challenge [including The Bob Graham Round of 42 Lake District fells traversed within 24 hours] and up until a year ago was still fell running and playing squash. He was as excited about our attempt as we are. So please give what you can and don't forget to click the 'Gift aid' option to ensure the Government put their hands in their pockets as well.
