Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I said about 10 years of so ago that I would run the marathon before I'm 40. Leaving it late and now at the age of 39, this April is the last chance. I am starting from scratch here, so it's long hard slog of training. I am in need of continued encouragement and your donations will spur me on. Afasic is a great cause I am running for, and one close to our hearts.

Being able to speak and communicate with other people is an essential life skill. For most children and young people learning to communicate comes easily. For some children and young people, however, it is a major challenge as they have a speech and language impairment. Afasic England is working to support these children and their parents, enabling them to overcome their speech and language difficulties.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you so much for your support. Jamie 'RUNNING MAN' Holman
