Story

To keep you all up to date with our progress please visit our blog at http://felsted-aid.blogspot.com we will try to keep it up to date during the ride and post pictures of our journey.

During the Summer 2010 we are planning to cycle from Felsted, Essex to Chernihiv, Ukraine on our tandem.  We will cycle up to Harwich, take the ferry to the Hook of Holland, cycle across Holland, Germany, Poland, and then into the Ukraine. Chernigiv is a little north of Kiev. This is a distance of approximately 1800 miles and we plan to complete it in three weeks!

We are hoping to raise money for the charity Felsted Aid for the Deprived Children (charity number 1099750).  This charity supports a rehabilitation centre in Chernihiv, near Chernobyl.  The radiation from the nuclear power plant disaster has, and is continuing to damage the DNA, resulting in severe deformities, cancer, respiratory illnesses, diabetes, and thyroid deficiences.  For more information about the charity visit www.felstedaid.org

EVERY penny we raise will be donated to the charity.

Thank you very much for your support.
