Airborne Forces Charities is a grant giving foundation which supports the well-being of serving and retired soldiers of the Parachute Regiment, associated units and youth organisations.

Story

The 2009 London Marathon

I am running the 2009 London Marathon as fast as I can to raise money for Airborne Forces Charities.

Why?

Having completed 3 tours of duty in Afghanistan, I have seen brave men killed and many grieviously wounded. They and their families now need all the support they can get in adapting to life with some horrendous injuries.

Why Airborne Forces Charities?

The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces have lost thirty killed, and over one hundred wounded including 6 amputees and 1 paralysed from the neck down, and for the moment confined to a wheel chair. Airborne Forces Charities will do their best to help these individuals in any way possible.
