Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Dear all,

As many of you know, my brother Alex was diagnosed as being diabetic at the beginning of his teens. We've seen how debilitating this condition can be, but also how courageous he has been in dealing with it and managing it.

On Saturday 25th August, we're jumping out of a plane from 13, 500 feet to raise money for Diabetes UK. Mad? Maybe. Exhilarating? Certainly. A worthwhile cause? Absolutely. It's also an opportunity for me to publicly audition for the role of James Bond in Sebastian Faulkes' new book/film. If you can, please sponsor me and help us contribute to research to eradicate this horrible condition.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diabetes UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

As an incentive, I've even added a picture of my last death-defying stunt: jumping solo from the top of the Great Wall of China. So please sponsor me now, and even join me for a pint at the nearest pub afterwards on 25th August! If it all goes wrong, who knows, you may even be in my Will!

Many thanks for your support.
