Today there's an estimated 35.8 million slaves worldwide, with over 8000 in the UK. Trafficking in human beings is one of the greatest scandals and tragedies of our age.

As a group from Christ Church, New Malden, we ran wild to fight the modern day slavery of human trafficking. The WOLF Run is a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes & thick mud. Running in a pack, we’ll tackled a series of tough obstacles - run, climb, jump, wade, crawl and swim through a course designed to challenge us on every level.

It's a very different run from what we've done before but given that we've done hardly any training since the girls arrived and can barely run for a train right now, it was quite a task!

In the end, Jo didn't get the chance to run. Mark ran but soon got injured and had to limp all the way round. All worth it for the cause though!
