Story

WE DID IT!

And guess what... It was actually quite fun! Well when I say fun, I mean the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life, and probably one of the most painful also.

So we finished in 350th place, all of us! (that includes the beautiful Limping Haggai as well) in a time of 28 hours, 1 minute, and 14 seconds.

Everyone suffered highs and lows, tears, pains, and falls but we stuck together and pulled each other through as a result. Here's a list of things we like in the jammieDOJers:

Pain killers
Compeed
Tape
Vaseline
Support Bandages
Horrible Gel Energy Wotsits
Bar Jokes
Facts
Love
Our Incredible Support team

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped us along the way, this includes, all of you who donated money (we raised a small fortune thanks to you guys), all of the brilliant companies that helped us out with raffle prizes and auction items for our fundraisers, everyone who came along to our ceilidh, band night, and pub quizzes, and of course our support team of Mummy and Daddy Pearson, and John Laing (mr support team) who we simply couldn't have done it without.

Thank you again, Love you!

Hello and Welcome to the fundraising page for the jammieDOJers

We are 4 fit young things hoping to raise £3000 for Oxfam by taking part in their Trailwalker event on the 18th and 19th of July 2009! This consists of a 100km stroll through the south downs in no more than 30hours. Our team consists of:

The Walkers:
Hazel Clarke (team captain)
Douglas Pearson (bounder)
Timothy Crone (technology specialist)
Fraser Easton (ne'er do well)

Support team:
Mr & Mrs Pearson

Will we make it? Will our friendship descend into undermining and bitchery? Or will we prove that in a world of unemployment, some young up and coming talents in the world of architecture have something to give...? stay tuned to find out. And if you would be so kind, donate some money also...

Please visit our sister team who we will be doing the walk with at www.justgiving.com/thelimpinghaggai.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Oxfam Trailwalker gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Please take a look at our photos of the training walk on the left.
