Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Jim has been fascinated by boats and sailing from a young age, spending many happy hours racing various dinghies, including his beloved Hornets. If you are a sailor visiting our page, you will understand that once you have sea-water in your blood-stream, you are hooked for life!

Gill is a health professional who has been a stalwart supporter of young disabled people for many years. She set up the Open Door club in Winchelsea Beach, and more recently founded ARRCC, the Activity, Respite, Rehabilitation Care Centre, putting to good use the then-mothballed Respite Care Centre in Rye.

Our supported charity, the RYA's Sailability scheme, brings together these two interests and gives physically disabled people the chance to do something they might have thought impossible - to get on the water and sail. Imagine the thrill of sailing for people who can feel and hear but have no sight, or of sailing a boat at speed even though they can't walk, or of joining in a sport where deafness doesn't matter!

Donating to Sailability through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the RYA and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for Sailability.

So please dig deep and donate now!
