We work to save the African lion to ensure viable populations exist

Story

Hi there.

If you´ve arrived at this page its because you are one of my friends. So please read on..

Just in the last 60 years Africa has lost 80-90% of it's lions!!!

This beautiful creature is on the brink.. . Its chilling to imagine a world without this majestic animal . But some people are trying to turn this around and our friend David Youlden is one of them.. ALERT is working on a release program to reintroduce semi-wild lions back into their natural environment and its working!!

The lions are doing amazingly well and have their first cubs. Its these cubs, once they have learnt all the survival skills they need from their pride that will be released into the wild. Into the areas of Africa that have lost their lion populations.

I along with others, I have made a pledge to help to raise funds to continue this work .. If just 700 people raise 500 pounds each!  Thats a whopping 350,000 pounds..That would make a huge difference... So here I am asking all of you to donate a little or a lot via this page...

We need to save the African lion.
