It raises funds to provide care and safe sanctuary for sick or injured wild animals that cannot return to the wild.Its also a global voice for wild animal cruelty. www.careforthewild.com

We all have lifelong goals on our list 'to do'. Some we look at and think they are out of our reach and they stay on the list. One of the things on my list is to do the London Marathon.I will only do one marathon and it has to be the London one.

I have been running for over 3 years now and have completed a good handful of half marathons but never a full marathon. I run with the Brackley and district running club and will have all the advice from them but most importantly I will have the support of my husband Adam who will be training me. It wont be easy but If my body holds up I will do it.

I dream of running across the finish line, getting my medal and know that not only that I have raised money for all those wild animals in need but I will be able to cross something off my list.

Please give generously to Care for the Wild. We dont see these wild animals in our homes or streets so its easy to forget about their plight. There is no excuse for animal cruelty.
