Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As of today (26th Oct 2011) I have reached my target of £3250. This is fantastic and thanks so much to everyone who has donated on and off line, large and small. If you're visiting this page for the first time then please do donate as well - I have a new target in mind that I am now aiming for!

As you may already know, in February 2012 I am taking part in The Brooke Indian Horse Riding Challenge http://www.thebrooke.org/support-us/fundraising/overseas-challenges/indiaride

The Brooke is an international animal welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules in some of the world's poorest communities.

This is a fantastic charity which works hard to help these working animals, and by doing so assists their owners in making a living for themselves and their families.

By signing up for this challenge I have pledged to raise a minimum of £3250 for The Brooke.

For my part I am working hard to try to raise the profile of The Brooke and am planning a series of talks to groups of horse riders on 'Riding with Confidence' to raise funds. My fund raising is going really well and I hope to raise as much as possible for the charity. I am also working hard on my fitness as the ride will be a significant challenge for me personally.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
