We provide UK-wide support and information to improve life after brain injury
Story
Hi Everyone, I swam the English channel on 15th July 2005 in a time of 15 hours and 12 minutes for the charity 'Headway'. The conditions were pretty bad on the day an I injured my shoulder 6 hours into the swim but apart from that it was a good day. I'm supporting Headway because my younger brother was the victim of a vicious, unprovoked attack when he tried to help a boy who was being assaulted. The attack left him brain damaged and as a result, he is still in hospital two years on although he is making steady progress. Thank you for all your support leading up to the swim, I really appreciate it. Anyone who still wants to donate can do on this site or contact me at janechannelswim@hotmail.com for further details. Thank you again, Jane x
