Well I did it and had a great day. A huge thank you to all friends family and colleagues for their support.
I said I would do this run for my Mum and I dedicate it to the memory of a great lady, who never ever complained and always had a word of encouragement for everyone she met. We are grateful to Alzheimer's for the help and support she had. I met so many others with so many other stories at the Great North Run who were also raising awareness. My congratulations to them all, and to Georgina Biddle who also ran this race to support my fundraising.
