Mike & I reached Everest Base Camp at noon on 17th November 2009 after leaving our camp at 5am in a blizzard and a temperature of minus 25 degrees!

We trekked in memory of my mum & to raise money for Fairhavens Hospice. As you may know mum was cared for at Fairhavens before she passed away last year so this trek is really special to Mike & I. The care & compassion she received there was second to none.
