As a VSO volunteer, I'm on a mission to spread awareness and raise money for VSO, in the fight against global poverty. Please donate whatever you can afford - every penny will help VSO continue their vital work in developing countries.

My role as a VSO volunteer: In November I'm heading off to India to work for a year as part of VSO's Youth for Development programme. I'll be working as Communications Coordinator with a small NGO called Aaina (www.aaina.org.in), sharing my skills & experience to help improve the lives of people with disability, women and children in east India.

What is VSO? I really believe in the work that VSO do - instead of sending food or money to developing countries, they send skilled professionals to make a sustainable and long-lasting difference.

Your donation goes directly to VSO. Also, if you're a UK taxpayer, 25% in Gift Aid plus a 3% supplement are added to your donation. It's quick, easy and secure.

Thanks for your support,
