UPDATE OF OUR PROGRESS!
Myself and Brian both made it to Uhuru, the summit of Kilimanjaro which stands at 5895m, nearly 19,500ft. It was probably one of the hardest physical challenges we have both undertaken in our lifes but our determination to succeed got us there along with the fact that all your donations meant so much to us. An unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Thanks to everyone for their support, collectively I think the group has raised in excess of £100,000 so far, a great feat in itself.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Like many people our families have been affected by cancer. Jane's Mum died just over 5 years ago and Marie Curie were fantastic to her and to her family with their continual support, even after Mum was gone.
We are doing this challenge in memory of my Mum (Jane's), Jean, her Auntie Anne and to support Marie Curie who provide a fantastic service for people affected by cancer.
We are very excited about participating in the Mount Kilimanjaro Trek and about meeting all the like minded people also participating in the challenge. We can't wait to stand on that summit at nearly 20,000ft and think how proud our parents will be of us.
Thanks for taking the time to visit and read this page, if possible, a donation of any amount will help Marie Curie keep providing their vital FREE service to families all over the country.
