About Canine Partners:  Canine Partners train dogs to help transform the lives of people with physical disabilities, most of whom are wheelchair users. These dogs save tax payers money, as the need for carers is greatly reduced; but get no government funding.

Partners live with a variety of different disabling conditions, some of which are from birth and others have been acquired during their lifetime. Each Partner has different levels of ability and as such different needs.

Dogs are trained to respond to a wide range of commands, enabling them to carry out a vast number of tasks for their Partner and all applicants individual needs are taken into consideration when the 'matching' process takes place.
