I shall be donning a pinny and scarf, tossing my pancake and running as fast as I can from the marketplace to the church without dropping it.  I'll be passing some of the sights photographed here and you can take a full tour of the course by following the link below.

I pleasantly surprised myself last year by coming 9th and would like to improve on that position, but I'm still unlikely to win the first prize of £300 and a kiss from the verger at the finish line!  Instead, my target is to raise £600 for Advantage Africa.  The feasting of pancake day has made me think about the people Advantage Africa works with who struggle to meet their basic nutritional needs.  These include eighty orphans in Obambo village, Kenya, who currently rely on our feeding programme for their only meal of the day.

Please help Advantage Africa make a difference to the nutrition and education of disadvantaged children by sponsoring me in the famous race on 24th February.
