<p>In September 2011 I plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania(5752m) and aim to raise &pound;2,500 to help the Alzheimer's Society improve the lives of people with dementia and those who care for them.</p> <p>My fun loving mum is suffering with Alzheimer's and has been in a care home for over a year.She doesn't know me and my dad now!</p> <p>&pound;50 will pay for a day's research into understanding the causes of this terrible disease that robs people of their lives. &pound;12.50 pays for support and advice to one caller via the helpline.One in three people over 65 will die with dementia.
