It all started after the 5th pint of lager...........and I'm told there's no going back!! That night we agreed to enter for the London 10k run which takes place on 6th July and we are already busy training, building on our current distance of 2k......only another 8 to go! We are running for The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA), a charity that has provided me with immense help and personal support over the last 7 years as my little boy, Matthew, was born with the genetic condition Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). People with TSC have growths in different organs of their body and may have epilepsy, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and kidney problems. Symptoms vary from one person to another with some people showing very few symptoms and others more severely affected. Although Matthew is only midly affected by the condition, the TSA has been a pillar of emotional and eductional support for both Matthew and the rest of the family. This is my way of giving something back and I am looking to you to help me by generously donating anything you can afford to help the association support families and develop the research to find a cure for this condition. Thank you.
