Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As most of you probably know I am now the proud owner/servant of two mischevious cats and given my involvement with the charity sector I've decided to run for an animal related cause this year. To make things a little bit different I'm running dressed as catwoman!!!
I've now completed the run on the hottest day of the year and with my good luck fairy :-) I have a lot of blisters but it was great fun and the crowds were really supportive....and yes there were a lot of rude comments.
The recession is hitting us all, more than 30 animals a day are being abandoned in the UK. This has risen by 57% in 2008 and this is expected to increase throughout the recession. The RSPCA pledges to do all it can to support these animals in crisis and rehabilitate and rehome them wherever possible. Each branch is separately funded from the national RSPCA and has to support the work in each area without government funding. You can help here by sponsoring me to raise money for my local RSPCA.......
£5 will board and feed a rabbit for a day, £6.75 will board and feed a cat for a day, £10 will board a dog for the night.......
