My story

After 15 weeks of training, over 200 miles of training runs, 5250 sit ups and push ups, one lost toe nail and one squished sciatic nerve, yesterday I ran the CancerCare Cross Bay Half Marathon. My time was 2hr21min59 which, considering the various river channels we had to cross, the ridiculously strong headwind and the fact that I’d never run anywhere near this far before, I don’t think was too bad at all. The even better news is that we have raised over £1,300 for CancerCare. This is absolutely fantastic!!

Thanks everyone for your support. I couldn’t have (and wouldn’t have) done this without you.
