Breakthrough Breast Cancer is committed to fighting this devastating disease through research and awareness, and has established the UK's first dedicated breast cancer research centre, in partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research.

In September 2006 I will be walking 60 km over 2 days as part of the Aviva Breakthrough Weekend.

Six years ago I went through breast cancer myself, and having 3 daughters I would like to do all that I can to prevent them and all other women from going through this terrible disease.
