Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
We did it! In 3 hours and 15 minutes. I kept hold of Scarlette's hand tight when we went through the big river crossing, it was knee high for me and waist high for Scarlette with a surprisingly strong current. We saw some quicksand spots bubbling away but they were heavily guarded by officials to keep us safe!
Scarlette did incredibly well, she didn't moan at all and she wasn't even tired - she was still jumping about once we got home, full of beans. It was a lovely walk, the weather was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. We feel very smug now having raised lots of money for the Wildlife Trust and got fresh air and exercise! Aren't we good girls?!
