Action Cancer is Northern Ireland's leading local cancer charity working to save lives and support people affected by cancer.
It relies heavily on public donations to provide life-saving services including early detection clinics, health promotion, research, counselling and complementary therapies.
Janice and Kenny (he's the fit one!!) are cycling around Lough Neagh to raise loads of cash for Action Cancer. The 'lap' is a mere 150km's (about 95 miles in 'old money'), don't laugh!!
Kenny (the fit one) is a personal trainer and has done this before. Janice has not cycled for many, many years and has been training with Kenny since January so she can complete the event this year! Not an easy task but 'Neagh problem' when you're doing it for a very worthwhile cause, Action Cancer.
Almost all of us will know someone within our own circle of friends or family whose life has been touched by cancer. This is your opportunity to help us raise as much as we can for a charity whose main focus is to save lives and support people, making a real difference.
So please sponsor us! Your support will help spur us on to the finish line when our legs (well Janice's anyway) won't want to pedal push anymore!
