Story

Trek Japan 4th to 14th October

Join us in the trekking mecca of Japan to experience the beauty of this remote and stunning landscape. This is trekking at its best - you will brave awe-inspiring ridges and breathtaking climbs to two of the most spectacular peaks of the North Alps.

Mention these places to the Japanese and you’ll see them weaken at the knees with a twinkle in their eye. This unique experience will take you from the buzzing metropolis of Tokyo to the summit of Mount Yari, staying in scenic mountain lodges on the way. We will be rewarded with wonderful natural hot springs and the beautiful castle of Matsumoto before celebrating Japanese style among the neon lights and karaoke bars of the vibrant capital city.

In addition to taking part in a superb trekking challenge you will also be committing to raising £3,400 for Sense International. We hope to recruit 20 participants raising at least £68,000 for our work with deafblind people in India, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe and East Africa.

Maximum 15 people.
