We lost a dear friend a few years ago to breast cancer, and my wife's cousin is a survivor, so when Neil came up with this idea I was in straight away.

The ride is 91 miles from west to east, and has some pretty big climbs. It's certainly the furthest I have ridden, and we think it will take around seven to eight hours in the saddle.

In case you are wondering, all donations are going to the charity, and none on beer or chips; the trip itself is entirely self funded.
