Right were do I start I have being in talks with men united prostate
cancer uk, for a couple of months now as my dad has prostate cancer and non Hodgkin lymphoma cancer and wanted
to help in making men aware of the signs and symptoms and raise awareness to cancer
so I put to them that I have a classic xr2 I take to numerous car shows
and has won quite a few trophies. so I put it to them if it was ok for
me to use my xr2 as there 1st ever prostate cancer men united awareness
car and it has all being approved by them and the car
club i'm with and my insurance company, I have got some decals for now that are on my car
and prostate cancer uk have sent me some things, ie wrist bands, pens, badges,
to sell at the shows and leaflets to give out this is going to be an
every year thing I will be doing from now on. This needs to be done as 90% of people that go to classic car shows are men, and own
classic cars i hope this is going to be really big and get a lot of
people to back me and promote men's cancer it doesn't cost alot to train doctors and to save lives and prostate cancer kills 10,000 men every year in the uk it can cost as little as £25 for a man diagnosed time to talk to a specialist nurse about treatment options. £100 will pay for the publication of 5,000 leaflets so 5,000 more men can get more informed. £500 will pay for 2 GPs to be trained in spotting the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer by going to a prostate cancer master class. £1.000 could support a weeks worth of research into advanced prostate cancer. Thank you so much for your support and donation no matter how big or small it all helps.
