BHF - London to Brighton Bike Ride 2012 · 17 June 2012 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

At the end of 1999 my Grandfather died due to a heart attack.

As many of you may not know I have a very serious heart defect. In April of 2010 I collapsed while on holiday in Egypt. On returning to the UK I was diagnoised with a genetic disorder in my heart that required me to get fitted with a Pacemaker in November 2010.

This device is keeping me going more than you would know. There is no cure for what I have but one day there might be and with your help, your donation will help in the study that these amazing people are doing to one day find a cure for what I and many others have.

I have not got a large limit and if I exceed my donation limit that would be great, just give what you can, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
