Story
Many Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
In my infinite wisdom, I have decided to do the London to Brighton Bike Ride in June.
It is 54 miles in the saddle, but some history before I get to the begging part:
About 25 years ago my late father took part in the ride, and for quite a few years i've thought on and off about doing this, in a recent "get fit" kick I picked up my bike - un used for many a year! and the thought of doing the ride popped back into my head. Now, I'm no Lance Armstrong, or Chris Hoy, but, as it happens, this years ride falls on Dad's birthday, and what better way to honour him than to partake in something he did, and at the same time try to raise some money for a worthy cause.
Now the 'painful' bit:
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you, every little helps
