Story
After running a half marathon in March 2010 I wanted to take the next step and attempt a full marathon.
I decided on the New York Marathon on November 7th 2010.
I'm funding the whole trip myself but want to try and raise as much sponsorship money as possible for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes who cared for my father in law when he was in his last weeks.
Willen Hospice cared for him through the difficult last weeks of his life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer and being given only 5 weeks to live.
Willen Hospice is only funded 25% by the NHS and has to find the rest through charitable donations.
I'd appreciate any sponsorship you could provide as it will go to a very worthy cause!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
I really, really, really appreciate it!
