British 10k London Run 2008 · 6 July 2008 ·

We fund pioneering research into Asthma and Allergic Disease led by teams of world-renowned experts. This includes kick-start funding for research, supporting PhD students, developing education and training through worldwide contact and discussion and the purchase of necessary equipment and consumables. We are also proud to have funded the world's leading genetic research team in identifying asthma related genes.

Story

Thank you for all of your support.  I really am feeling very overwhelmed with your kindness and generosity in supporting my family and the charity!!!

BREAKING NEWS:

With the capable assistance of experienced marathon runner, Kate Hall, setting the pace I managed to run the 10K in under an hour (56 minutes)!! I didn't even stop to walk once.  I'm in a whole new world of pain right now so I hope I can encourage you to help AAIR with a donation of some type.

Please sponsor me as I try to raise some money for the Asthma, Allergy and Inflammation Research charity by running the 10K London Run on July 6th.

Every year I say to Sarah that this is the worst shape i've ever been in my life and every year it is true.  So I have been decided to enter this 10K run to raise some money for an organization which raises money for Asthma research.  Everyone knows how tough a year Reuben had with his chest infections, asthma and multiple hospital admissions.  I would like to think that by supporting AAIR to do more research will help find ways of treating people with Asthma.

Thank you so much for your support.

Next year bring on the Marathon! (if I manage to survive this).  Hopefully I won't finish behind the guy in the deep sea diving outfit or anyone who is into the triple digits for age but i don't want to make any rash statements about finishing times.

Lots of love,

Jason
