Story
I am overwhelmed with the support i have had so far and i really value anymore support i can get.
I completed the 106 mile race on 20th July in 8 hours 12 minutes. It was a fantastic experience in baking hot weather and i finished in a quicker time than i anticipated which goes to show that the 2,500 miles of training this year paid off! The last 13.5 miles up Mont Ventoux took me 2 hours and 17 minutes and were the hardest miles i have ever ridden! I came in the top half of the field and was only beaten by Chris Boardman by 2 minutes. A photo of me on the last hairpin is on this page. With gift aid i am nearly at my target and would value any more donations i can get.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. My race number was 8298 and the Official Website with results and photos is here: http://www.letapedutour.com/2009/ETDT/presentation/us/index.htm
