Good news!! I managed to finish La Quebrantahuesos with a good time (8:14:35) getting a Silver Medal within my category . I am very happy for the great day I had and all the nice people I met there. The atmosphere was incredible, unique! And for the scenery we had in the ride, well I have no words, you can see from my picture.... I have to recognise that the last 50km were really really hard, honestly, I couldn't do it without your support. Remembering all of you made me keep going! Thank you very much again for your great support, your responses on the web have been fantastic and I would like to congratulate you for making this possible. All my respects for you. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Hi guys As you might know I am a huge 2 wheel fan and with this in mind I have just set my new challenge, La Quebrantahuesos (This ride will take me through the breathtaking Pyrenees. With ramps of up to 15% and category one "Tour de France" climbs like Spain 's Col du Somport (1,640mt), France's Col du Marie Blanque (Cat 1) and Col du Portalet (1,795mt) before finishing back in Sabiñánigo, Spain. http://www.quebrantahuesos.com/). This journey is a huge challenge and will give me great memories as well as support a wonderful cause. I also will ride another challenge in May here in England (Hampshire Hilly Hundred, 100 miles in what it sounds a real climbing ride!) I would be very grateful if you could support me in this challenge and help the people from Deafblind UK. My grandma is becoming deaf and blind and I can say that this disability is one of the loneliest conditions. I can assure you that I will do my very best in both these challenges. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Deafblind UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for all your support.
Javier Garcia Carabias Hola amigos! Muchas gracias!
