I will be taking part in the "Why Run When You Can Walk" Marathon event on the 9th and 10th April 2011 in memory of my Dad, and to raise lots of money for the Myasthenia Gravis Association. I will be walking all 26.2 miles of the route of the London Marathon so please be generous and sponsor me lots of money!
Myasthenia Gravis is an auto-immune disease which is characterised by fluctuating and sometimes fatal, muscle weakness. It affects all ages and both genders. The charity aims to aid the discovery of improved diagnostic techniques and better treatment - ultimately to find a permanent cure for Myasthenia Gravis and similar disorders of the nerve-muscle junction. http://www.mgauk.org/
