JDA-Community Fun Run · 27 January 2009

JDA is dedicated to supporting everyone who is deaf or hard of hearing - people of all faiths & none, at all stages of life. We offer professional support services, information & a range of social, cultural & educational programmes to the Deaf community & people with all levels of hearing loss.

Story

This year the JDA has decided to make the Community Fun Run one of our big fundraising events.  Our team is now 22 strong, and perhaps more will still join in.  Everyone has the same goal, to raise much needed funds for the JDA.

The JDA is doing its utmost at this time of financial uncertainty to continue to provide essential services to our elderly group of Deaf and Deafblind service users.  (Some pictured left returning from an outing)  The JDA is their home from home.  Here at our North Finchley Community Centre, they meet at Day Centre to catch up with eachother, to receive support and welfare services, to play stimulating games and to eat a nourishing Kosher meal.  Without Day Centre, many of them would be isolated and lonely, so it is is truly important for us to keep Day Centre running.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, and thank you so much for your support. You can read about the other services at the JDA on our website www.jewishdeaf.org.uk.
